Pickup Truck, Motorcycle Crash on I-605 Freeway
WHITTIER, Calif. (June 27, 2022) — A motorcycle and pickup truck collided Monday morning on the southbound Interstate 605 Freeway near Washington Boulevard in Whittier.
The two-vehicle crash occurred about 7:06 a.m. on June 27th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a Ford S10 pickup truck struck the bike and went down in the HOV lane. The rider fell off in the fast lane of the freeway.
The rider managed to get up after the collision, but it’s unknown if he suffered any serious injuries.
Paramedics responded to help those hurt in the motorcycle crash, but there are no specific details.
Meanwhile, a tow truck responded on the 605 Freeway to remove the damaged motorcycle and the pickup truck driver cooperated with the investigation.
