Pedestrian Injured in Whittier Crash on Larrylyn Drive
WHITTIER (September 16, 2019) – A pedestrian was airlifted to a hospital after a traffic collision along Larrylyn Drive on Monday afternoon.
Police said the accident was reported in the 11000 block of Larrylyn Drive at around 4:20 p.m. near Lebo Street and Leffingwell Road.
According to an article published by The Orange County Register, a female pedestrian was struck by a vehicle for an unknown reason on Larrylyn Drive.
Pedestrian Hit by Car in Whittier Monday, September 16
Los Angeles County Fire Department officials along with the paramedics responded to the scene and found the woman suffering from unspecified injuries as a result of the crash.
The patient, described by firefighters as critical, was then flown to Los Angeles County+USC Medical Center for treatment.
Her name and condition at this time were not immediately available. Meanwhile, police did not specify if the driver of the car involved stopped after hitting the woman.
Authorities are still investigating what exactly caused the incident.
