WHITTIER, California (July 5, 2016) — At least two people suffered injuries Tuesday morning in a multi-vehicle collision involving a Redondo Beach Police Department patrol vehicle, a big rig truck and two other vehicles on the southbound Interstate 605 Freeway, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The crash took place about 10:54 a.m. this morning and was blocking the Nos. 1, 2 and 3 lanes of the freeway near Peck Road. Two people were complaining of chest pain frollowin gate crash and paramedics with the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded.
The crash is under investigation by the CHP to determine liability.
