WILDOMAR, California (January 21, 2015) — At least one person was injured Wednesday morning in a two-vehicle traffic accident in the northbound lanes of the Interstate 15 Freeway at Bundy Canyon North, according to a dispatch by the California Highway Patrol.
The car accident was reported at 10:11 a.m. in the No. 2 lane of the freeway between the drivers of a Hyundai Veloster hatchback and a Honda Civic. The California Department of Fire Riverside responded to cut and rescue one person who appeared to be trapped in the wreckage.
Caltrans closed down the northbound lanes causing heavy traffic. Two tow trucks responded to remove the two damaged vehicles.
CHP officers are heading up an investigation into liability for this crash.
