1 Seriously Injured in Wildomar Crash on 15 Freeway Near Bundy Canyon Road
WILDOMAR, CA (November 21, 2021) – A car crash seriously injured at least one person on the 15 Freeway near Bundy Canyon Road in Wildomar.
The California Highway Patrol said the wreck took place early Sunday. According to their dispatch, officers reported the accident at about 12:51 a.m.
CHP determined that a tow truck collided with a silver Honda Accord in Wildomar. For an unknown reason, the two crashed on the southbound 15 Freeway near Bundy Canyon Road.
Tow Truck and Car Collide
The Honda obtained major front-end damage due to the impact of the collision. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
Medical personnel then found one person who sustained major injuries as a result of the incident. They rushed the patient to a hospital for treatment.
The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, the cause of the Wildomar crash is still under investigation.
CHP forced the southbound lanes of the 15 Freeway to shut down near Bundy Canyon for a time following the wreck.
