1 Injured in Wildomar Hit-and-Run Crash on 15 Freeway Near Bundy Canyon
WILDOMAR, CA (September 14, 2021) – At least one was injured after a hit-and-run crash on the 15 Freeway near Bundy Canyon Road in Wildomar.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident occurred on Tuesday night. Officers reported the wreck at about 8:35 p.m.
CHP said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Wildomar. They crashed on the southbound side of the 15 Freeway near Bundy Canyon Road.
2 Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found an occupant of a silver colored car hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then treated the victim for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the incident. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded patient and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the other driver did not stop to render aid and fled the area. Officers shut down the southbound lanes of the 15 Freeway near Bundy Canyon following the wreck.
The cause of the Wildomar hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
