Los Angeles Wrongful Death Lawyer
Based on this news report, there are still many unanswered questions here. Was this a single or multi-vehicle accident? Was the victim the driver or a passenger? Was either alcohol or drugs involved possibly serving as a contributing factor? Did excessive speed or distracted driving play a role? Were any involved motorists negligent in any other way? Were there any other motorists injured in the collision? We trust officials are looking into these and other factors in order to determine precisely what occurred here and why.
In such cases where negligence or wrongdoing may have been a factor, the family members of the victim may be able to file a wrongful death lawsuit against an at-fault party pending how the investigation turns out. Immediate family of the victim would potentially be entitled to seek compensation for damages including medical expenses, funeral costs, lost future income and loss of love and companionship.
