William Elliott, 45, Killed in Traffic Accident Near Alberta Avenue
LINDA, Yuba County (July 27, 2018) – A 45-year-old man was killed in a traffic collision on North Beale Road Monday evening, according to Appeal-Democrat.
The fatality was identified as William K. Elliott.
Deadly Motorized Scooter Accident in Linda, July 23
Preliminary investigation revealed Elliott drove for unknown reasons into the path of a vehicle traveling east on Beale. The motorized scooter operated by Elliott was then struck, just west of Alberta Avenue.
Shortly after 9:18 p.m., medical personnel arrived at the crash site and found Elliott thrown onto the ground. The man was then rushed to Rideout Hospital, where he sadly succumbed to his trauma around 3 a.m.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was released on the identity and whereabouts of the motorist who struck Elliott.
Investigators handling the case continue to determine exactly what happened here and why.
