William Hanson Killed in Fresno Pedestrian Accident on Clinton Avenue
Fresno Man, 58, Struck by Pickup Truck
FRESNO, Calif. (Feb. 12, 2025) -– William Hanson, 58, of Fresno, died in a pedestrian accident on Clinton Avenue, near Barton Avenue in Fresno.
The traffic accident occurred around 7:40 p.m. on February 10th, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
A driver in a Toyota pickup truck was traveling eastbound on Clinton Avenue when the pedestrian reportedly ran across traffic lanes.
The 43-year-old driver attempted to avoid hitting the victim, but couldn’t, the report said.
Paramedics responded and rushed the injured man to Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC), however, he died at the hospital.
Meanwhile, the driver stopped and cooperated with the fatal traffic investigation.
CHP detectives have not ruled out whether alcohol or drugs were factors on the part of the pedestrian.
