William Lararamirez, 23, Hurt in Traffic Collision on 101 Freeway Near Main Street Offramp
Ventura, CA (July 12, 2021) – William Lararamirez, a 23-year-old man, suffered injuries following a suspected DUI car crash on 101 Freeway early Monday.
The CBS Los Angeles reported William Lararamirez was a passenger in a vehicle traveling south on 101 Freeway. In the area near Main Street offramp, the 2016 Infinity Q50 overturned. The car rolled down the embankment and sustained major damage.

Shortly after 3:30 a.m., emergency teams arrived at the location and found three men trapped in the wreckage. Firefighters successfully extricated the front passenger seat, later identified as William Lararamirez. Paramedics rushed the man to Ventura County Medical Center for treatment of major injuries.
Officials added another passenger sadly died at the scene.
Meanwhile, preliminary investigation revealed the 25-year-old man driving the 2016 Infinity Q50 showed signs of intoxication at the time of the collision. Police then arrested the man on suspicion of driving under the influence and for felony gross vehicular manslaughter.
Detectives continue to determine several factors surrounding the deadly DUI car crash in Ventura.
