Man, 42, Dies in Motorcycle Crash on I-5 Freeway
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Oct. 25, 2021) – Motorcycle rider, William Seidel Jr., 42, of Stevenson Ranch, died early Sunday in a car accident on the Golden State Interstate (5) Freeway in Granada Hills.
Also, the deadly crash happened about 5:24 a.m. on Oct. 24th, just north of the Foothill (210) Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The 2000 Honda CBR 600 motorcycle collided with a pickup truck in the No. 1 lane of the freeway. One of the motorists was changing lanes when the two vehicles collided, police said.
Motorcycle Rider Killed in Granada Hills Crash
During the collision, the motorcycle rider was ejected from the Honda into traffic lanes. A passing vehicle struck him in the roadway. Sadly, the Stevenson Ranch man died at the scene.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner identified William Seidel Jr. on its website.
