Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash is ID’d

UPLAND, Calif. (Jan. 22, 2024) — William Thomas Waggoner, 46, of Rancho Cucamonga, died Friday night in an Upland motorcycle accident at North Benson Avenue and North Birkdale Avenue.

The traffic collision occurred at around 9:26 p.m. on Friday, January 19th, according to the Upland Police Department.

Authorities responded to the intersection after someone called 911 to report the collision. The report did not indicate whether or not any other motorists were involved, nor what caused the crash.

Paramedics were also at the scene and pronounced William Waggoner dead at the scene at 9:39 p.m., according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner.

The investigation into what happened is ongoing. Witnesses should contact the Upland Police Department.
