WILLIAMS, COLUSA COUNTY (May 12, 2017)- According to the California Highway Patrol, a head-on collision took place Friday morning at or near the intersection of Highway 20 and Walnut Drive.
Two vehicles were noted to have been in the crash which was logged at 10:55 a.m.
A big rig and a white SUV with the alleged vehicles involved. The big rig was described as having completely left the road after the accident.
At least one motorist in the SUV was injured requiring medical assistance. That person was eventually transported to a hospital with moderate to serious injuries.
It remains unclear whether or not anyone else was injured in the wreck as the California Highway Patrol had Walnut Drive just south of Highway 20 shut down for over an hour.
No further details have been released at this time.
