1 Hospitalized After 2-Vehicle Collision on Redwood Highway Friday
Willits, CA (April 29, 2021) – At least one person suffered injuries following a car accident on U.S Route 101 on April 23, Friday.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, two vehicles collided in the northbound side of US-101, also known as Redwood Highway.
Earlier reports indicated one motorist involved in the wreck was seen driving recklessly prior to the crash. When emergency crews arrived at the location, they found a motorcycle, a Lexus sedan, and a Nissan Frontier. However, at the moment, the identity of the reckless driver remained unknown.
Minor Injury Car Accident in Willits, April 23
Medical crews arrived at the site shortly after 4:15 p.m. Per CHP log, paramedics transported one patient to Adventist Health Howard Memorial for treatment of minor injuries. Police continue to withhold the name of the patient pending confirmation.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate exactly what happened here and why.
