At Least 1 Injured in Suspected Hit-and-run Accident on Poppy Drive
DATE OF COLLISION: Saturday, December 15th
December 16, 2018 – The California Highway Patrol reported a hit-and-run collision on Poppy Drive Saturday evening.
As per the CHP dispatch, a van struck a white Chevrolet on Poppy near Peacock Drive at about 9:10 p.m. The driver of the van did not stop and continued driving following the collision, officials said.
Injury Car Accident in Willits Saturday
Medical records indicated there were injuries in the accident, but the names of the victim and the extent of their injuries remained unclear at this time.
Authorities mentioned the suspect vehicle was possibly a Chrysler Town and Country. No other information with relation to the accident has been yet released.
Detectives continue to investigate the case of the collision.
