Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Willits Crash on Highway 101 Near Reynolds
WILLITS, CA (September 4, 2021) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a crash on Highway 101 near Reynolds Highway in Willits.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the accident occurred on Saturday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 3:51 p.m.
According to CHP, the motorcycle rider and a tour bus collided for an unknown reason in Willits. The two crashed on Highway 101, just south of Reynolds Highway.

The incident log added that the bike obtained rear-end damage and a broken rear wheel upon impact. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
Medical personnel then found the motorcyclist who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision. They took the patient to the Providence Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for treatment.
Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded victim and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP mentioned that the bus did not have any passengers when the wreck happened.
Officers forced a stretch of Highway 101 near Reynolds to shut down following the collision. The cause of the Willits crash is still under investigation.
