2 Killed, 1 Injured in Collision at West El Segundo Boulevard and South Main Street Saturday
Willowbrook, CA (January 22, 2022) – Two people died, and another suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred in the area of West El Segundo Boulevard and South Main Street.
The KTLA5 News reported two vehicles collided at the intersection in Willowbrook. Due to the force from the impact, both cars sustained significant damage.
Shortly after 9:45 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. First responders found one or more parties trapped in the wreckage. The article published online later mentioned two people sadly died as a result of the crash. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the names of the deceased parties remained undisclosed.
Authorities added a third person sustained serious injuries as a result of the incident. Paramedics rushed the patient to a local trauma center for treatment and further evaluation.
Several factors surrounding the unfortunate event have not been discussed thus far. At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the car crash at El Segundo Boulevard and Main Street.
