At Least 1 Hospitalized After Collision on Interstate 5 Freeway Wednesday
Willows, CA (July 14, 2021) – A car accident that occurred on Interstate 5 Wednesday morning resulted in injuries, the Action News Now reported.

Authorities said the wreck involved two vehicles traveling south on the freeway. In the area just south on County Road 20, the driver of the Chevrolet Camaro made an unsafe lane change. Preliminary investigation revealed the sudden movement led the Chevrolet to hit the trailer in the second lane of the freeway.
The force from the impact caused the Chevrolet to veer off the roadway. The passenger vehicle eventually slammed against the center divider along Interstate 5.
Shortly after 5:50 a.m., emergency crews arrived at the site and rendered aid to all possible victims. According to the article published online, the 22-year-old Fresno man driving the Chevrolet sustained injuries as a result of the wreck. An ambulance transported the patient ot the hospital for further evaluation.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate the precise cause of the car accident in Willows.
