Motorcyclist Badly Hurt in Collision on Highway 99
Willows, CA (October 9, 2022) – At least one person suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred in the area of Highway 99 and County Road 68.
The Action News Now reported multiple vehicles collided at the crossing in Willows. Our sources mentioned the crash involved a motorcycle, a pickup, and a big rig.
Officials said the incident took place Sunday noon.
Rider Hospitalized After Multi-Vehicle Accident in Willows
When rescue teams arrived at the crash site, they found the motorcycle rider suffering in injuries. Paramedics then rendered aid to the victim. Due to the major trauma of the victim, an helicopter airlifted the patient to Enloe Medical Center. Personal information on the injured motorcyclist remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Meanwhile, the occupants in the pickup and big rig appeared unharmed after the crash.
Local police shut down the intersection to give way to the investigation process. At this time, detectives continue to work to determine the precise cause of the accident that happened at Highway 99 and County Road 68 in Willows.
