Willows: Pickup, Car Crash on Highway 99w at Wyo Road

CHP Reports Traffic Accident on Highway 99w Involving Distracted Driver

WILLOWS, Calif. (August 14, 2026) – A minor-injury crash involving a pickup truck and a Ford Fusion happened Thursday on Highway 99w at Wyo Road in Willows.

According to the California Highway Patrol the driver of a silver Ford F-150 pickup truck rear-ended a silver Ford Fusion sedan that had stopped to turn onto Wyo Road.

It happened on southbound 99w and resulted in minor injuries to the occupants in the Ford Fusion. The driver and passengers in the truck were unharmed.

Authorities say the pickup truck driver was distracted and failed to see the stopped Fusion ahead. The Car had major rear-end damage and was totaled in the collision, while the pickup truck had moderate front-end damage.

The investigation is ongoing.
