
SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Wilson Alexis Rivas, 37, is dead, another driver suffered major injuries in a Sacramento crash at Auburn Boulevard and State Route 51.
The deadly crash occurred around 7 a.m. on July 4th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Two vehicles were involved in the crash. A 53-year-old man was driving northbound on State Route 51 when for unknown reasons he went off the roadway’s east side, crashed through a fence and collided with a southbound car on Auburn Boulevard.
Wilson Rivas of Sacramento suffered major injuries and died at the scene. The older motorist was transported to a hospital with major injuries.
The case remains under investigation.
