WINCHESTER, California (Sunday, January 17, 2016) – Three young teens died yesterday afternoon on southbound State Route Highway 79, approximately 1226 feet north of Benton Road. All lanes blocked. Tate Herman, 18, Kile Kennedy III, 13, and Anthony Aleman, 16, all died at the scene of the accident. All three were residents of Hemet, according to the Riverside Sheriff-Coroner’s report.
The incident took place yesterday afternoon at about 1:48 p.m., according to an incident report by the California Highway Patrol, Temecula. The young men were pronounced dead at 1:55 p.m.
