2 Injured in Winchester Crash on Simpson Road Near Whittier Avenue
WINCHESTER, CA (September 12, 2021) – Two were hospitalized after a car crash near Simpson Road and Whittier Avenue in Winchester.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the accident took place on Saturday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck shortly after 3 p.m.
The incident happened on September 11 when a Honda Civic and another vehicle collided for an unknown reason in Winchester.
2 Vehicles Collide
According to CHP, the two crashed at 33227 Simpson Road near the intersection with Whittier Avenue. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Highway 79.
They found two people, including a pregnant woman, who complained of pain to their neck, back and arm as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel took both patients to the Menifee Valley Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries. Officials did not disclose their names and condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced a stretch of Simpson Road to close following the wreck. Authorities are still determining the cause of the Winchester crash.
