WINCHESTER: Fatal Motorcycle Crash Domenigoni Parkway and Leon Road

UPDATED: Motorcyclist, Walter Sallman, 67, Killed in Crash at Intersection

WINCHESTER, Calif. (April 10, 2025) — A fatal motorcycle versus tractor crash happened Thursday afternoon on Domenigoni Parkway at Leon Road in Winchester.

The two-vehicle collision occurred around 2:06 p.m. on April 10th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The tractor and a motorcycle rider collided in the middle of the intersection due to unknown circumstances, the report said.

The rider, later identified as Walter Sallman, 67, of Hemet, suffered major injuries and died on scene, the CHP said.

Investigators are on the scene gathering evidence and towing the motorcycle from the scene.
