Mini Cooper Driver on Phone Causes Rear-End Crash
WINCHESTER (June 7, 2018)- According to the California Highway Patrol, a rear-end collision left at least one person hurt Thursday just before noon at the intersection of Domenigoni Parkway and Rice Road.
Authorities arrived at the scene following the crash which transpired at roughly 12:19 p.m.
At Least 1 Person Hurt
A witness informed CHP that the driver of a Mini Cooper had been on the phone weaving in and out of traffic before slamming into the back of a blue Nissan Rogue.
The driver in the Nissan complained of injuries but it was unclear whether or not they were taken to a hospital. The report also did not indicate if there were any passengers accompanying the Nissan driver.
No details were provided on the Mini Cooper driver and if they suffered injuries. There was no indication mentioning whether the Mini Coop driver was under the influence or simply just driving recklessly.
