Major Injury Collision Near Arata Lane
Windsor, CA (September 28, 2022) – At least one person suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on Highway 101 Wednesday morning.
Auto vs. Caltrans Truck Accident on Highway 101 in Windsor
The Press Democrat News reported a Toyota Camry crashed into the Caltrans truck. During the collision, the truck was protecting a mower who was trimming vegetation in the center median near Arata Lane.
Shortly after 11 a.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. Responding paramedics checked the conditions of all parties involved in the wreck. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed one person sustained major trauma. Personal information on the victim remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Officers shut down the northbound lanes of the highway to give way to the investigation process; and clearing operations.
At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the accident that happened on Highway 101 in Windsor.
