Pedestrian Killed in Windsor Crash on Old Redwood Highway Near Pleasant
WINDSOR, CA (April 23, 2023) – A crash killed a pedestrian on Old Redwood Highway near Pleasant Avenue in Windsor.
According to an article published by The Press Democrat, the tragic accident took place late Saturday night. Officers reported the collision on April 22 at around 10:20 p.m.
Police said the incident happened when a vehicle struck the pedestrian for an unknown reason in Windsor. The driver hit the person on Old Redwood Highway near Pleasant Avenue.

Firefighters along with the paramedics then arrived and found the victim down on the ground. The individual sustained serious injuries as a result of the accident.
Medical personnel soon pronounced the patient dead at the scene. The name of the deceased party has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, police added that the motorist stopped and stayed at the site following the collision. The cause of the fatal Windsor pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
