Pedestrian Injured in Windsor Hills Crash on West 61st Street
WINDSOR HILLS, CA (January 18, 2022) – A pedestrian was hospitalized after a crash on 61st Street in Windsor Hills.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident took place early Tuesday. According to their dispatch, officers reported the collision at about 12:46 a.m.
The incident happened when a vehicle struck the pedestrian for an unknown reason in Windsor Hills. The driver hit the person at 4487 West 61st Street.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Overhill Drive. They found the victim who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to the Centinela Hospital Medical Center for treatment. The report did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the driver stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the person. Officers forced a stretch of 61st Street to shut down for a time following the pedestrian incident.
The cause of the Windsor Hills crash is still under investigation.
