Winter Nason, 25, Injured in Multi-Vehicle Collision on Highway 1 Saturday
Valley Ford, CA (April 12, 2021) – Officers arrested 25-year-old Winter Nason in relation with a fatal car crash on Highway 1 on April 10, Saturday.
The Press Democrat reported three automobiles collided on SR-1 at Valley Ford Road. When emergency crews arrived at the site, they found a Nissan Frontier, a Dodge truck, and a Ford Ranger.
Preliminary investigation revealed Winter Nason was behind the wheel of the Ford Ranger. Due to the alleged intoxication of Winter Nason, he was unable to stop and avoid two cars involved in the first collision in Valley Ford.

The Ford smashed into the side of the Dodge, then continued and hit the rear of the Nissan. According to the article published online, the driver of the Nissan sadly died in the accident.
Meanwhile, Winter Nason reportedly sustained injuries as a result of the wreck. Paramedics transported the Ford driver to a hospital for treatment. Police later arrested Winter Nason on suspicion of driving under the influence.
Further investigation on the case is ongoing.
