Student Hit and Injured by Vehicle Between Cottage and Hemenway
Winters, CA (March 24, 2023) – A middle-school-aged student suffered injuries following a pedestrian accident that occurred on Anderson Avenue Thursday, March 23.
The FOX40 News reported the juvenile was walking to school when a vehicle hit them. Officials said the collision took place in the area between Cottage Circle and Hemenway Street.
Juvenile Hospitalized After Accident in Winters
Shortly after 7:55 a.m., emergency crews arrived at the crash site. Responding paramedics immediately attended to the injured student; then transferred them to a hospital for further treatment. Pending confirmation, the condition of the victim at this time have not been discussed thus far.
The driver involved in the collision stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation process. At this time, detectives continue to work to determine the precise circumstances that led up to the accident that happened on Anderson Avenue in Winters.
