1 Seriously Injured in Winton Crash at Cressey Way and Walnut Avenue
WINTON, CA (August 19, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash at Cressey Way and Walnut Avenue in Winton.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the accident took place early Thursday. Officers reported the wreck at about 3:21 a.m.
The incident log said a white sedan, a tractor and a third vehicle collided for an unknown reason in Winton. The three crashed at the intersection of Cressey Way and Walnut Avenue.
Multiple Vehicles Collide
CHP added that the sedan obtained major front-end damage upon impact. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
Medical personnel found one person who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision. They then took the patient to a hospital for treatment.
Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Cressey Way and Walnut Avenue to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Winton crash is still under investigation.
