Pedestrian Injured in Wofford Heights Hit-and-Run at Highway 155 and Wofford Boulevard

WOFFORD HEIGHTS, CA (July 29, 2021) – A hit-and-run crash injured a pedestrian at Highway 155 and Wofford Boulevard in Wofford Heights.

According to an article published by the Kern Golden Empire, the accident took place on Thursday afternoon. Officers reported the incident at about 12:42 p.m.

The California Highway Patrol said a vehicle struck the pedestrian for an unknown reason in Wofford Heights. The driver hit the person on Highway 155 at the intersection with Wofford Boulevard.

Victim Hit by Vehicle

Firefighters along with the paramedics then arrived at the scene and found the victim left wounded on the road as a result of the collision.

Medical personnel soon provided treatment to the patient for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the incident. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.

Meanwhile, CHP believed that that the motorist did not stop to render aid to the victim and fled the area. Officers forced on Highway 155 at Wofford Boulevard to shut down following the collision.

The Wofford Heights hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
