Tania Roldan-Madrid Killed in Fiery Crash
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Jan. 2, 2025) – Tania Roldan-Madrid, 38, died early New Year’s Day in a fiery two-vehicle crash on the Harbor (110) Freeway in South Los Angeles.

The drivers of an SUV and a Mini Cooper collided around 5:30 a.m. on Jan. 1st, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred in the northbound lanes of the freeway at West Florence Avenue, the CHP report said.
Paramedics responded and transported at least one other person to a hospital, authorities said.
However, Tania Roldan-Madrid suffered major injuries and died on the scene, according to a report by the Medical Examiner’s Office. She is survived by her three daughters and a young granddaughter.
Police issued a Sigalert at 7:12 a.m. due to the closure of the express lanes on the northbound 110 freeway, but the lanes reopened at 10:22 a.m.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault.
