Woman Struck by Reversing Vehicle in Field
LOCATION: Gonzales, CA
DATE OF INCIDENT: Wednesday, September 12th
September 13, 2018- According to the California Highway Patrol, a woman was involved in a pedestrian accident after being struck by a vehicle yesterday afternoon in a field located at 26802 Foletta Road.
Authorities were dispatched to the scene after receiving notification of the incident which transpired at 2:02 p.m. roughly.
According to the report, the unidentified female victim was struck by an alleged green Honda Accord whose driver reversed into the woman.
The details provided suggested that the woman suffered injuries ranging from moderate to serious before being taken away by ambulance to a nearby medical center.
No information was listed on the motorist involved and whether drugs or alcohol played a contributing role.
CHP officials will be the agency handling the investigation.
