MILLVILLE, California (May 2, 2016) — A woman was hit by a driver early Monday morning on the eastbound California Highway 44, just east of Millville, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The crash took place about 4:52 a.m. this morning. The driver of a silver Mitsubishi Raider pickup truck called 911 to report he had struck a woman in the roadway. The Shasta County Fire Department responded and the eastbound lanes were blocked. It appears a second vehicle may have also been involved. Keith’s Tow removed a Nissan Sentra with major front-end damage from the scene of the crash.
