The accident occurred around 10:45 a.m. at the intersection of Geary Boulevard and Franklin Street.
As per the article, police said the woman had just been dropped off by a SF Paratransit bus on the east side of Franklin Street when she crossed in front of the northbound bus.
The bus driver then hit and dragged the victim about 30 feet, trapping her beneath the vehicle. She died at the scene.
The name of the woman, who was using a walker at the time, has not been yet released.
Meanwhile, the driver stayed in the area and cooperated with investigators. The bus is a service contracted by the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency for people with disabilities.
The incident remains under investigation.
