LAKE ELSINORE, California (November 7, 2016) – One was hospitalized after a DUI crash at the intersection of Grand Avenue and Lime Street on Sunday, November 6, according to Inland Empire Sports and News.
The collision involving two vehicles was reported about 4:07 p.m.
As per the article, Lake Elsinore police said a 2008 Kia minivan was found with front-end damage stopped in the southbound lanes of Grand Avenue while a 1998 Ford truck was ended up with damage to its right rear bed portion on Macy Street.
A passenger in the van, a 60- year-old woman, complained of pain to her legs and shoulders. She was transported to a local hospital for further medical evaluation and assistance.
Meanwhile police affirmed that the driver of the Ford truck, 46-year-old Andres Marquna-Aranda, was determined to have been drunk driving at the time of the wreck.
Marquna-Aranda was unharmed and was then arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. The Lake Elsinore man was taken to the Southwest Detention Center in Murrieta and booked for Driving Under the Influence.
