LOS ANGELES, California (May 2, 2016) — A woman was injured Monday morning in a two-vehicle collision on the northbound Interstate 5 Freeway at Zoo Drive near the connector to the 134 Freeway, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The crash took place about 10:41 a.m. this morning between the two drivers, a white vehicle was facing the wrong way in the No. 1 lane after the crash. One of the vehicles was also smoking and a bystander pulled the woman out of the vehicle and she was laying on the ground. The Los Angeles Fire Department sent paramedics to the scene to help the injured and police are investigating the cause of the crash. A black Honda Civic and a second vehicle were towed from the scene.
