Young Woman Injured in Auto-Pedestrian Accident
Los Angeles, CA (June 15, 2025) — A 20-year-old woman was injured Sunday evening after being struck by a vehicle in Downtown Los Angeles, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD).
The incident occurred around 7:26 p.m. on June 15th near 330 W 5th Street, where emergency crews responded to reports of a pedestrian being hit by a car at low speed. LAFD personnel from Fire Station 9 and Rescue Ambulance units RA209 and RA9 arrived on the scene within minutes.
The woman sustained an isolated lower extremity injury and was transported in fair condition to a nearby hospital. No other injuries were reported in the incident.
The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) is investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision under Incident #2567. The area remained active for a short time as first responders treated the patient and cleared the scene.
LAFD spokesperson Lyndsey Lantz confirmed that the incident involved no major traffic disruptions, and the investigation is ongoing.
