Woman Critically Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash Involving Waymo
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (July 27, 2026) – A woman was critically injured early Sunday in a two-vehicle crash involving a Waymo vehicle on West Venice Boulevard in Los Angeles, authorities said.
Emergency crews responded to the crash reported at 5:44 a.m. on Sunday, July 26th at 1026 W. Venice Blvd., in the Pico-Union area, police said. Two vehicles were involved including the Waymo and a sedan.
The Los Angeles Fire Department arrived at the scene and located two people with injuries who were transported to a hospital.
The Los Angeles Police Department also responded and is heading up the investigation.
Both vehicles sustained major damage in the crash and were towed from the scene.
The cause of the collision is under investigation to determine fault.
