Woman in Wheelchair Struck, Injured at Bodega and Ragle Avenues
SEBASTOPOL (August 24, 2017) – A 27-year-old woman in wheelchair was seriously injured after being hit by a vehicle on Bodega Avenue Thursday morning, according to the Press Democrat.
Witnesses narrated that the woman, a Sebastopol resident, was crossing Bodega at Ragle Avenue intersection when she was struck by a silver KIA.

As per the article, medical personnel arrived at the scene shortly after 10:00 a.m. and found the woman overthrown about 75 feet away from the point of collision. Paramedics rushed the victim to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for treatment of major injuries.
Meanwhile, officials mentioned the involved driver, only identified as 79-year-old Sebastopol man, remained at the scene following the incident.
The investigation on the injury collision is ongoing at this time.
