UNIVERSAL CITY, California (April 7, 2016) — A woman suffered a minor eye injury when a Universal Studios tram struck a painted sign at the theme park Wednesday afternoon, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The woman was sitting on the sightseeing tram when its driver struck the sign and paint chips flew into her eyes. Responding firefighters were able to flush out the debris from her eyes within 10 minutes of arriving at the scene about 4 p.m. yesterday.
There does not appear to be any other injuries.
