Woman Killed in Lancaster Hit-and-Run Crash at Avenue M, Fourth Street

LANCASTER, Calif. (June 19, 2026) – A woman was struck and killed in a hit-and-run crash early Friday morning at Avenue M and Fourth Street in Lancaster.

Deputies received a call that someone was down in the roadway and responded at 12:59 a.m. on June 19th to West Avenue M and Fourth Street West.

A driver reportedly struck the woman who died at the scene.

The suspect vehicle continued driving and failed to stop as required under California law.

The case remains under investigation.
