Woman Critically Injured in Collision is Hospitalized
VICTORVILLE, Calif. (August 8, 2024) — A female bicyclist was badly injured Tuesday in a hit-and-run crash on D Street in Victorville.
The traffic accident occurred at 2:14 p.m., on August 6th in the 17100 block of D Street, near Emma Jean’s Holland Burger Cafe, according to Victor Valley News Group.
The Victorville Police Department responded to the scene of the crash between a vehicle and the unidentified woman riding a bike.
The victim was riding her bicycle south on D Street when she was hit by the unknown driver in a vehicle.
Victorville City Fire responded and requested a medical helicopter. The victim was transported to the Victor Valley Global Medical Center via ambulance and subsequently airlifted to a trauma center.
Investigators are working to locate the suspect. Witnesses should call the Victorville Police Department at 760-241-2911.
