HANFORD, California (November 29, 2016) – A pedestrian was seriously injured after a hit-and-run collision in the area of Hanford Armona Road and Greenbrier Drive Sunday night, November 27, according to Hanford Sentinel.
The accident took place around 9:50 p.m.
As per the article, Hanford police said a 22-year-old woman was left lying in the roadway after being struck by a car. She was transported Kaweah Delta Medical Center in Visalia with non-life-threatening major injuries.
The name and condition of the victim at this time remained unknown.
Meanwhile, witnesses told the police that a female motorist was inside the suspect vehicle when the crash occurred. The car, described as an older-model tan-colored van, did not stop and fled east on Hanford Armona Road.
