Women pinned on concrete steps by vehicle
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Sept. 12, 2018) – Two women were injured Wednesday afternoon when they were struck by an unoccupied SUV and were pinned between it and concrete steps in the 3600 block of Locke Avenue in the El Sereno area.
The crash took place about 1:20 p.m. on the east side of Los Angeles.
Firefighters from the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to help the women who were trapped by the vehicle at the bottom of a steep driveway. One of the women suffered major injuries and both were hospitalized. The vehicle was found without a driver and running.

Whatever caused this collision, whether it was a driver or mechanical problem, the responsible party must be held liable for the injuries suffered by these two women.
The two women may pursue a personal injury lawsuit against the at-fault driver seeking compensation for damages such as medical expenses and hospital bills, lost future income due to work absence, and pain and suffering.
