Woodbridge Fire Chief Stephen Butler Injured in Lodi DUI Crash
LODI (July 14, 2018) – A fire chief was injured after an alleged DUI crash in the area of West Kettleman and South Hame lanes earlier this month, according to Lodi-News Sentinel.
Woodbridge Rural Fire Protection District Chief Stephen Butler was a victim of an auto accident which occurred on July 1 at approximately 10:15 a.m.
As per the article, officials said Butler was in his SUV west on Kettleman Lane when he was struck by another car which was headed south on Ham Lane. The lights and sirens of the emergency vehicle were on at the time.

Butler suffered minor injuries, including bruised ribs and a bruised psyche as a result of the crash. The victim has been serving for 31 years now.
Meanwhile, the driver of the other car involved also sustained minor wounds upon impact. That motorist was believed to have been drunk driving when the wreck took place.
The suspect whose name was not released was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.
