Woodcrest crash Van Buren Sally
6 Injured in Woodcrest Crash at Van Buren Boulevard and Sally Lane
WOODCREST, CA (November 19, 2022) – Several were injured after a car crash at Van Buren Boulevard and Sally Lane in Woodcrest.
The Riverside County Fire Department first logged the accident on Thursday evening. Officers reported the wreck on November 17 at about 6:13 p.m.
Cal Fire said the two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Woodcrest. The cars crashed at the intersection of Van Buren Boulevard and Sally Lane.
2 Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and rescued one trapped occupant from the wreckage. A total of six people ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
The rescued person sustained serious injuries and another suffered moderate injuries. The other four patients survived the incident with minor injuries.
Medical personnel then rushed all six victims to the hospital for treatment. The report did not release the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officers forced the area of Van Buren and Sally to shut down following the incident. The cause of the Woodcrest crash is still under investigation.
