At Least 1 Hurt in Collision on Road 27 Wednesday
Woodland, CA (October 6, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a traffic accident that occurred on Road 27 Wednesday morning.
Initial records indicated a passenger vehicle collided with a tractor trailer on Road 27 in Woodland. The crash took place in the area between Road 96 and 97.
The CHP logged the incident at about 9 a.m.
When emergency crews arrived at the location, they found a black Kia sedan overturned in a ditch. The force from the impact deployed the airbags in the car. Responding firefighters worked extensively to pull out a female party trapped in the wreckage.

Our sources mentioned the woman sustained injuries as a result of the crash. Due to the severe condition of the woman, paramedics transported her to Kaiser Permanent Vacaville Medical Center for further treatment and evaluation.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the operator of the tractor trailer.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate several factors surrounding the car and truck accident in Woodland.
