1 Seriously Injured in Woodland Crash on County Road 16 Near Road 102
WOODLAND, CA (March 5, 2022) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash on County Road 16 in Woodland.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the incident as a head-on collision on Saturday evening. Officers reported the wreck at about 6:04 p.m.
CHP said three vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Woodland. They crashed on County Road 16 near County Road 102.
Multiple Vehicles Collide
The incident log added that a car involved, a white sedan, went off the road and then rolled over multiple times. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
Medical personnel confirmed that one person sustained major injuries as a result of the collision. They rushed the wounded party to a hospital for treatment.
The report did not release the name of the patient and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced a stretch of County Road 16 to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Woodland crash is still under investigation.
